Dear Haitian Relief Fund Donors:
On behalf of ImpactLives™ I would like to thank you for your generous gifts. Your commitment to helping survivors of the devastating Haitian earthquake is sincerely appreciated. As they continue to struggle to rebuild their lives, Haitians continue to desperately need food, clean water and medical supplies. Through our partners in the Dominican Republic and Haiti, where we have worked for the last 8 years, ImpactLives™ continues to distribute much-needed meals through local feeding centers and various onsite organizations.
Each year ImpactLives® continues to advance its mission of “transforming communities one life at a time.” Through our local programs in Minnesota as well as those in other states, we not only feed people and change lives, we raise funds for water, medical supplies and equipment; for Haiti, this means replacing precious supplies destroyed in the earthquake. ImpactLives™ has already shipped more than 2 million meals to Haiti in the past three years, feeding over 30,000 children. ImpactLives™ is also partnering with Target Corporation to pack 1 million meals, begining January 25, at Target Headquarters in Minneapolis; log onto www.target.com and become a part of what we are doing!
In particular, ImpactLives® was successful in 2009 in providing meals to people in Haiti, Honduras, Nigeria, Kenya, India, Cambodia, and many others countries; in large cities where thousands of children die of starvation every day… as well as in refugee camps, where displaced peoples have nowhere to turn.
The goal of ImpactLives® is to continue to make a difference in the world…because it is our world. Each child who does not die of starvation, each family that has an opportunity to learn new ways to not only survive, but to flourish, makes a difference in our own lives, for mankind is all one people. With the help of donations from supporters such as you we will continue to see improvements in the communities where we bring food to the chronically hunger, along with hope and help for lives full of promise. Right now, our focus must be on Haitian earthquake survivors.
Thank you again for your compassionate and generous support.
Best wishes,
Ramon A. Pastrano, IV, M.A. President and Executive Director ImpactLives® |
